DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Flight Transfer: Board a plane from Entebbe International Airport to Apoka Airstrip. On arrival, meet our English-speaking tourist driver guide from Bright Tour Guides and receive a briefing about your 5-day Kidepo Valley National Park safari. After briefing, drive to the lodge and check-in for lunch, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN NARUS VALLEY & AFTERNOON RELAXATION
Set off for an early morning game drive in search of Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, and lots of antelopes, with packed breakfast to the Narus Valley. Have a wonderful breakfast setup in an open savannah with a scenic view of wildlife.
Narus Valley comprises grassland plains and distant mountains and is the permanent water supply to the park's mammals. The area has excellent game drive tracks to explore numerous wildlife species such as Jackson's hartebeest, Lions, Cape buffaloes, Oribis, Rothschild's giraffes, Reedbucks, Cheetahs, and Ostriches.
After your half-day game drive to Narus Valley, return to your lodge to have refreshments and lunch, then go for your evening visit to the Manyatta communities of the Karamojong tribe.
The Karamojong people are nomadic pastoralists living in uniquely constructed houses called Manyattas that are designed in African style. A visit to Karamojong communities will expose you to their culture, art, crafts, and entertainment using their traditional sound equipment, traditional songs, and dances which will give you a breathtaking feeling.
Drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: KIDEPO VALLEY RHINO SANCTUARY
After having your heavy breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to Kidepo Valley Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. This adventure will give you the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
After the Rhino tracking, visit the famous Hot Springs which is a glorious place to take a memorial.
Drive back to the lodge for Dinner and an overnight.

DAY 4: HOT SPRING - VISIT TO THE IK PEOPLE
Full-day simple hike to visit the Ik people, some of the most isolated people in Uganda. The visit to Ik people will include charity work. The tribe on Mount Morungole offers a unique look at one of Uganda's most isolated ethnic groups.
Drive back at the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 5: DRIVE BACK TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OR KAMPALA CITY
Have a relaxed morning breakfast and drive to Apoka Airstrip and board a flight to Entebbe International Airport for departure.

Dry Seasons (Best): June-September & December-February - wildlife concentrates around water sources, easier game viewing. Green Season: March-May & October-November - lush landscapes, fewer tourists, bird watching excellent.
